Protect the rim/key Stop the ball, don't reach Know your check; See ball, see check Plant your feet; Slide with hands stretched out Hands up; Box out; Rebound Note: A steal is just a bonus, reaching is too risky, results mostly in a foul, or you getting beat On Offence Think ATTACK first; Penetrate/attack towards the basket Triple Threat: Always hide the ball Give and go; Off-ball screens When doubled, find your open teammate. Move the ball; Shoot open shots Don't know where to go? go back, get ready for defense, don't jam the key.
